Przelewy24 in PrestaShop — BLIK & Card Payments [2026]

The official, free Przelewy24 module for PrestaShop handles BLIK, instant transfers, cards, Apple/Google Pay and deferred payments. Implementation with configuration and testing costs 300–1,200 PLN net, and status webhooks with correct order status mapping are critical after launch.

Przelewy24 is one of the most popular payment gateways in Polish stores — it handles BLIK, instant bank transfers, cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and deferred payments, and for PrestaShop customers it is almost the default choice. A well-implemented integration is not just "adding a module": it means full order status handling (payment booked, cancelled, refunded), correct webhook processing, partial payments and legal compliance. The module is free, and implementation with configuration and testing usually costs 300–1,200 PLN net.

Najważniejsze: The Przelewy24 integration with PrestaShop is an official, free module (versions for PrestaShop 1.7.6+/8.x/9.x, plus older ones for 1.7.0–1.7.5.2) plus configuration: BLIK, transfers, cards, Apple/Google Pay, deferred payments, status webhooks and refunds. Implementation costs 300–1,200 PLN net; operator fees depend on volume. Critical after implementation: correct order status mapping and sandbox testing.

How does the Przelewy24 module work?

Przelewy24 provides an official PrestaShop module that communicates with the gateway through a REST API and webhooks. A correctly configured integration covers:

  • Payment methods — BLIK, instant transfers (24 banks and more), Visa/Mastercard cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, deferred payments (P24 Pay Later) and instalments, depending on your contract.
  • Checkout in the store and at the gateway — the customer selects a method in the PrestaShop cart; further steps (bank selection, BLIK) happen on the gateway's secure page or in a widget.
  • Webhooks and statuses — after a payment is booked the gateway sends a notification, and the module changes the order status (e.g. "Payment accepted"). This is the most important part of the integration: without webhooks the store "does not know" about paid orders.
  • Refunds and partial payments — refunds from the store or operator panel, adjustments and partial payments for B2B orders.
  • Compliance — payment confirmations in transactional emails, handling of interrupted carts (returning to the store after payment).

The module is free and officially maintained by Przelewy24 — download it from the operator's site. Important: the module version must match your PrestaShop version (a new solution for 1.7.6+, 8.x and 9.x; an older one for 1.7.0–1.7.5.2).

Implementation step by step

  1. Contract with Przelewy24 — store registration, verification, issuing credentials (Merchant ID, CRC, API key).
  2. Module installation — through the PrestaShop panel (Modules > Module Manager) or by uploading the package; pick the version matching your store.
  3. Connection configuration — credentials, test mode (sandbox) and production mode, return URLs and webhook addresses.
  4. Payment methods — enabling BLIK, transfers, cards and wallets; setting order and descriptions visible to customers.
  5. Order statuses — mapping P24 statuses to PrestaShop statuses (paid, pending, cancelled, refunded).
  6. Sandbox testing — test payments with all methods; scenarios: success, cancellation, interruption, refund.
  7. Production — switching to production credentials, monitoring the first orders and webhook logs.

Implementation usually takes 1–2 business days with an experienced vendor; most of the time goes into edge-case tests (interrupted payment, duplicate webhook, partial refund).

Most common problems

  • Orders not updating status — webhooks are not arriving (firewall block, wrong address) or status mapping is wrong. Check module logs and return URL configuration.
  • Conflict with the shipping module — changing the delivery method after returning from the gateway can break the order total; test the full path.
  • Duplicate orders — missing webhook idempotency on repeat notifications; the module should recognise duplicates.
  • No BLIK on mobile — a widget or method configuration issue; check behaviour on phones, where BLIK is used most.
  • An old module version — after gateway API changes old modules stop working; update and test after every change.

Day-to-day fixes and diagnostics are covered in PrestaShop help, and ongoing care in PrestaShop support.

What does it cost and what are the fees?

Item Cost
Przelewy24 module 0 PLN (official)
Implementation and configuration 300–1,200 PLN net
Modifications (partial payments, B2B, custom checkout) 800–3,000 PLN net
Operator fees volume-dependent (typically around 1–2%)

Fees are negotiated at higher volumes — for small stores the standard rates are usually fine. When planning costs, remember that online payments increase conversion: customers who do not pay cash on delivery come back more often.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Przelewy24 module for PrestaShop free?

Yes — Przelewy24 provides the official module at no charge (separately for PrestaShop 1.7.6+/8.x/9.x and older 1.7.0–1.7.5.2 versions). You pay transaction fees per your contract plus any implementation work.

Which payment methods does Przelewy24 offer?

BLIK, instant transfers (dozens of banks), Visa and Mastercard cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, deferred payments and instalments — depending on the contract. In Polish stores BLIK and transfers matter most; mobile wallets increase conversion on smartphones.

Why do orders not change status after payment?

Most often webhooks are not arriving (a blocked or wrong notification address) or status mapping is unconfigured. Check module logs, the return URL configuration in the P24 panel, and test a payment in the sandbox.

Can partial payments and refunds be handled?

Yes — for B2B and unusual scenarios the module (or a modification) handles partial payments, and refunds are processed from the P24 or store panel with order status updates. At high refund volumes, document it in your handling procedure.

Does Przelewy24 work with PrestaShop 9?

Yes — a new version of the official module is available for PrestaShop 9.x (and 8.x). Before updating the store, check compatibility and test a payment in the sandbox; after operator API changes, a module update may be required.

Przelewy24, PayU or Stripe?

Przelewy24 offers the widest combination of Polish methods (BLIK, transfers) in one gateway. PayU is often chosen for instalments and large stores, Stripe for international sales and subscriptions. Many stores combine two gateways: domestic and international.
